Happy Pride Month and Men's Mental Health Awareness Month!

A lot of our team is some flavor of alphabet soup and many others are simply good and caring people who support them, and it's no exaggeration to say that Century of Steam wouldn't be possible without the skill and dedication of people from all walks of life and of all persuasions. Narrow gauge railroading is the passion that binds us together and we want to provide an informative, welcoming environment for all to enjoy it together, to share in the thrill and the danger, the history and charm, and all the wonder of colorful little steamers with big personalities living their best lives out on the straight and narrow. Well, the narrow at least.

June is also Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, and while the hardship that created the need for awareness of both causes can often overlap, men both within and outside of the rainbow coalition can benefit from taking care of each others' mental and emotional well-being by being there for each other and allowing for moments of courage, vulnerability and honesty when times get tough. Fellas, there's no pride in braving your hardships alone, and fellaint's, be sure to check in with your local fellas and make sure they're doing okay.
