Archvillains & Spell Components: an updated Hexroll 2E model is now live

Greetings Brave Adventurers,

Following the conversion work done for the fifth-edition model, a few cool additions have now been back-ported to the OSR one:

Archvillains & Legendary Treasure

Some monsters are now tagged as archvillains, and certain magic items are tagged as legendary. If one or more of these were generated in your sandbox, they will be highlighted on the realm page.

These can provide excellent opportunities for overarching epic storylines, should you choose to include one.

Spell Components

Ever needed a Mandrake Root or Mercury and didn't know where to find them? You can now check your local herbalist or exotic goods shop, as they have just received a fresh stock of spell components.

Re-roll an Inventory

It is now possible to re-roll any shop inventory - allowing shops to be a bit more dynamic from visit to visit.

Highest Monster HD in Dungeons

All dungeon conspectus pages now display the HD of their toughest monster, allowing you to quickly gauge the potential difficulty.

Note that these changes will only apply to newly generated sandboxes.
