HEXROLL 2E - beta update #7 - Sandbox mods & editable titles

Greetings Brave Adventurers

Today's update opens up new content possibilities beyond what is and will be available when using the built-in generator model.

You can now optionally use scroll mods when generating new sandboxes to modify or extend the worlds you create in new and unique ways.

You can apply a mod by entering its unique ID (the 8 characters following scroll.hexroll.app) into the Scroll Id field when generating a new realm.

Using mods extends the boundaries of what's possible with the current generator model. New encounters, alternative names, additional hex features and more can now be added to the built-in behavior.

While I'm still working on better documentation, the best way to learn how to create a mod is by following an existing example:

But with great power comes great responsibility. It is still very easy to break the generator when writing and using mods; creating sandboxes that can have errors and inconsistencies. I strongly recommend testing your mods well before relying on them for a game. I will be available here and on discord to take a look at your mod and help you with questions and issues.

Another new feature today is the much requested option to rename pages/entities. You can now edit page titles such as hex titles, city names, dungeon names and even realm names when using the feather tool.
