Page 382 WIP 2

Howdy!

Tonight in conjunction with last night marks the first time in the past two months that I've had two consecutive evenings to work on the comic, allowing me to finish the pencils for page 382.

As you're probably well aware by now, back in late August, I bought my first house.  Dubbed "My Little Condo," it's a fixer-upper with a lot of improvements and repairs needed during this time, many of which were not immediately evident at the time of purchase or during the home inspection.

On the upside, I've learned how to do so many do-it-yourself projects over the past couple months.  How-to videos on YouTube are incredibly useful!  If you're willing to put in a bit of elbow grease, you can save a nice chunk of change that would otherwise go to hired help on many projects that are actually really simple.

The downside is that I've fallen very far behind on my artwork.  It actually makes me quite sad, as I love drawing and telling the "Draconia Chronicles" story and I haven't been able to as much as I used to during this time.  I feel like I'm letting you all down and letting myself down in the process.

But this odyssey is almost over.  The vast majority of improvements are finally done, and aside from some minor bits and general cleaning up from all the dust and debris the renovations have kicked up, all that's expected to happen from here on is packing, moving, and unpacking, and I'm hoping that'll all happen this weekend.  After that, I hope--I hope so hard!--that I can get back to my regular schedule.
