Added 2015-03-27 04:18:46 +0000 UTCPencils are done. Here's the story behind this page. This page is a direct result of my indecision on the ending to page 365. I couldn't decide on what to have Kess say in response to Cinder's beating. I'd originally scripted Kess to mumble "the Khalira," but then I quickly came to the realization that Kess' character wouldn't let that happen. She hates Dragons, and moreover, she's been shown as being relentlessly stubborn, almost to a fault. She wouldn't go down like a punk. This page's script was set aside and a new page 366 was written, partially to check in with "Team Shie" and to get them moving, and partially to buy myself some time. When it came time to write page 367 and switch back to Cinder's interrogation, I decided to do what has helped me do my best pages in the past, and that's just to let the characters talk. When I let Cinder have the floor, everything fell into place, and best of all, she still got an answer from Kess without Kess having to say anything. Kighan branding Meta a liar was a cool bonus, and it dovetails in perfectly with their earlier tense exchange. So yeah, I'm really excited about this page coming out. Hope you are, too! =RazorFox.
