A combination of writer's block, birthday festivities, and a personal issue or two slowed this page down. Despite that, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I love the ambiance added by Cinder's flaming branch! This was also a fun page to write, as it was one of those where I just let the characters write it for me. I'd originally planned for this to be an easier task for Cinder, but Kess promptly reminded me that she'd seize any opportunity to take down a Dragon, especially when that Dragon's horns are surprisingly handle-like. Between the headbutt and Cinder's subsequent reaction, I'm diggin' this page. The writer's block came with the ending. I wasn't sure how to end the page. I had a couple different endings in mind, but eventually, I just dropped what I was going to have happen in the final panel and save it for the next page. You'll see it soon.
