Into the Future

You will all have seen by now that Leila has moved on from doing the show so I thought it the right time to outline a few plans for the show going forward as there will be a few changes.  

I've listed a few of them in brief  below related to what kind of programmes will be coming up in the near future.  As always any comments or questions you have will be gratefully recieved.  

Histories Series

As you may have seen in this post i'll be starting a new series of historical analysis programmes starting from the 2nd week of this month.  The first of these will be a Marxist history of WW2.  This will be followed by a history of the Yugoslav Revolution that will start in November of this year followed by a history of the Chinese Revolution in the new year.  These will be released at a rate of one per week going forward and each episode will be between 1-2 hours long. 

Red Star Bulletin

As you may have seen I started a new series last week entitled "Red Star Bulletin" with a ten minute analysis of the current situation in Tunisia.  My plan is to do three of these a week, each of them around the ten minute mark covering a range of topics but usually covering something that is in the news at the moment.  If you have something you want to see covered in this then feel free to make suggestions. 

Reading Group 

The reading group episode covering the Tony Norfield book "The City" will be out this week following a slight delay.  With regard to the reading in the future i'll be putting out a poll to it's members later today regarding where we take that format in the future. 

Public Shows

The regular public shows will continue but these will feature many more interviews going forward.  My aim at the moment is to have at least one interview per week recorded with these being released to patrons early if possible.  

That's the plan for the moment, as always these are subject to change if the political situation does.  For instance if Nancy Pelosi drunkenly causes world war 3 to break out this week that may require me to change the schedule, maybe.
