Added 2023-07-14 18:57:43 +0000 UTCI've been working on Selena's scene this week and made some small, but good changes to her (a bit on the shape of her face and lessened the skin shine). I wanted to get a before and after to compare and figured it might be interesting to show you a comparison as well. Part of the difference is also me getting better at this.

2023-07-14 21:18:30 +0000 UTCIt's a design philosophy I've adopted going forward. I've been doing it, but not so much consciously--I want to work a lot with subtle changes in expression. There's so much visual storytelling potential in quiet changes like eyes dropping, a fading smile or a loving look.

In comparison, the old version has a slight doll-like quality to it, that's all gone and the new version is so much more lifelike that it literally draws you in. Impressive.
