Dev Log 17-Feb-2023

Hello!

I'll get to the image in a moment.

This week has been mostly focused on writing and still images. Today, I'll start work on some animations(hopefully finish?) and these will be rendering over the weekend. I've also started forcing my friends to do some QA testing for me, specifically for the investigation parts--some issues were identified and I'll be handling that in the post-production stage.

Next week, I'll keep writing and rendering still images. When the animations are done, work on the final part of the game can start. The diagram in the photo is the flowchart I used to map out the final part--obviously, any text has been erased for spoiler reasons. I think sharing this should give you a good overview of where we're at. Currently, the writing is at number 5. Now, these aren't all the same size and some parts might be cut if I find it doesn't work, but it should serve as an overview.

This weekend, I want to get up to #10 with the writing, maybe more if the scenes don't end up too long. The last one is the climax, and that one will end up pretty long, I think.

By the way, it's been almost three months since the first release(on the 18th) and I wanted to thank you all for your support again. You've been absolutely amazing, and I'm truly grateful!

A March release seems more and more realistic.

Haha, a little, but it's not as complex in practice as it looks on paper. The diagram needs to take every minor choice into consideration, since I use it both as an overview and a task list.
