Dev Log Update -- 09 Dec 2022
Added 2022-12-09 15:09:16 +0000 UTCThis week, I've focused on preparing the environment and characters for a (fairly) large scene. It's probably one of the most complex I've done, but definitely not the most complex I'll be doing for this release(because I like punishing myself, I guess). Two more characters were required for this and I had to go through several iterations until I got them to look the way I wanted them to. I'll be showing one of them off in the content preview I'll post later.
On the render side, we're around 150 renders in, which is slower than last week, but that's to be expected considering the complexity of the set and how many characters are in it. In addition, I've picked out some new songs and I can't wait to have them implemented(tends to be closer to the end of production).
As I've been fully involved in setting up this larger scene, I haven't written anything this week, but now that it's all set up and some renders are already done, I think I'm comfortable getting back to it. I'd like to finish up the final hangout option and possibly another scene before I start on one of the more plot significant scenes in this release(no spoilo). In addition, I'll keep going with the renders, like every week.
