Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)
While wearing these boots, you can move across any liquid surface--such as water, acid, mud, snow, quicksand, or lava--as if it were harmless solid ground. (you still take damage from the heat of crossing molten lava).
Spreading Corruption. As an action, you can create a 20-foot radius ichor pool centered on you to seep from these boots. This pool lasts for 24 hours, after which it disappears.
Any ground covered in this ichor is difficult terrain for creatures other than you. If set on fire, the ichor pool explodes, after which it disappears. Each creature standing within the ichor pool must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 8d6 Fire damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
When you use this property and when you start your turn within an ichor pool, you gain 2d6 temporary hit points as the ichor covers your body. If a creature that hits you with a melee attack while you have these hit points, the creature takes Necrotic damage equal to the amount of temporary hit points you lost.
Once you use this property, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
Even after an Ichor Stagβs defeat, its presence remains, a fetid pool of noxious oil suffocating the land. Such a substance should be eradicated, but where some see danger, others see opportunity. Perhaps such a substance could be utilized to fuel our advancement. And thus the cycle continues, blight begetting blight begetting blight, forever and ever onward with no end in sight.
