Added 2024-06-20 18:36:52 +0000 UTCIn this video I'll show you how I've been preparing my canvases with molding paste and gesso. It's important to add a primer or ground, even if your surface is pre primed, because it will add a base layer of something that is unique to your hand.

Loved this video! Very informative in prepping your canvas. Something I'm still trying to learn more about. I was curious on your first based layer in the colour iron oxide. It looks like it goes on pretty easy and thin. Do you add water or something to make make it spread a little easier especially when using a large canvas? Thanks so much Parker! Love to see more of these kind of videos! π€
