Getting ready for the show
Added 2024-06-01 03:46:22 +0000 UTCTrying to get a good picture of this one. I hate taking pictures. I had to watch YouTube tutorials about aperature, shutter speed, iso and all that.
Then I just spent all day adjusting all that stuff, changing the lighting, moving the camera.
All day except for a little detour I took attempting to put the other one into a floater frame. Which I also couldnβt seem to figure out. So I watched YouTube tutorials about that. And still couldnβt figure it out.
So just a day of making messes and figuring stuff out.
Taking a break now and Iβll probably keep working on it tonight. Gotta get this painting varnished so it can dry and I can frame it.
I did do a little doodling this morning. Glad I did.

Love the doodle! Do you feel a release when you do doodles like this after doing such a focused, detailed and time pressured piece? The painting turned out amazing!! Hope you get a good shot! I know some camera shit can be tedious! I use to take photography in school but digital didn't exist. All done with black and white 35 mm film. I really miss those days and actually been trying to find my old 35mm and maybe get back into it! I miss the whole process of rolling my own film to developing! Hope you take some time to sit back and do more doodles! π€πΈ
