Pancake day
Added 2024-05-30 03:55:56 +0000 UTCIt’s hard to photograph this piece because it’s dark and glossy. I don’t know how I’m actually going to photograph it for prints and stuff. But I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
I had to use a 3D modeling program to see how an actual plate would look in this position. I put a simple cylinder on it to see the lighting. Then I put some magpies and leaves on the plate. That’s a reference to the thieving magpie which is kind of a trickster story. There’s also references to other trickster references in it I guess I’ll point them out later. Here’s my reference with that 3D model thing.
