Getting off is easy, once you are out of the cockpit (that does take some time). Either your ground crew pulls out the footrest, or you place yourself onto the wing and then half jump down. Since the Vampire isn't very high, it's fine.

2019-08-26 11:34:07 +0000 UTCFun to watch, and I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself. I don't know how you're getting out, except maybe hanging onto the cockpit edge, and dropping a very short distance. And now, I can't help but thinking of all the accidents when pilots step up, but change their minds, right after the step retracts. Splits, falls, flailing - I imagine it all.
