BtC 6.2 - The Spitfire Story

Hey all,
------
Before going into the sequence linked above, I just wanted to quickly remind you, as already announced in a previous post, that I will be on a short holiday from 30th March until mid April. This means there might be a few less updates coming up until I am back.
------
Linked above is part of the intro to an upcoming video (Sponsor: Royal Air Force). Unlike the intended release video, it is as shown here without pictures, as I still need to finalize this aspect due to possible licensing issues. The 2nd draft was sent to the RAF last Thursday, so hopefully I will have their response this coming Monday.
The video was shot inside the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight hangar. Coming there, I had an idea to use the available space by walking around a bit and having the planes called out with special cards. I think the final product came out quite nicely and I am happy the plan came together in the end.
As always, let me know what you think in the comments below!

Hey Henri, thanks for the feedback. Very happy to hear it. The intro sequence was a spontaneous idea when I was there, and it's good to hear your thoughts on it. Sometimes good ideas don't turn out that well - I hope that in this sequence people still enjoy it. But you are right about the information flow. I did broadcast a lot in those two minutes, maybe too much and that distracts. In the coming videos, I will keep that in mind.
Do you feel like this video was 'too' professional or stylistically not really in line with the channel anymore? What parts of the video would be 'off putting'? The fact that I had a very good (not my own) camera did allow me to make different sorts of shots.

If you put a lot of information in what you say, it's necessary to keep the focus on you.
However in an introduction it looks cool to do that going around. It shows instantly where you are. And after that intro shut come the information. An other tip i like to add is to always keep close to who you are. I never look TV, only YouTube doc's or something like you do. I really like the personal way people like you present themselves. Never act like a pro because these are not human they are created. Anyway I more or less figured out how to use this editor. ;-)

Hi, I also like to make some remarks. The going around is indeed a little dizzying it also distracts.

Wide angle lenses can result in a "fish-eye" effect, where things near the edge of the image are distorted. This distortion can make it seem like parts of the image are moving faster than others when the camera pans. I don't know how that relates to depth of field.
Some lenses are worse than others for this, obviously.
Frankly this is a fairly small thing, and may best be viewed as an indirect compliment. "If that's the worst thing I can find to complain about..." :D

[apparently my reply did not post properly last time] Thanks for pointing that out, hasn't occurred to me and it is good to know. The final version has some pictures in between, breaking up the movement so that might help.
Glad you like the labels. What do you mean with the lens that could have made it worse? I am still a bit unfamiliar with possible lens issues by movement. Would this be about depth of field and the perception there of?

The going around and around is a little bit dizzying. Perhaps going slower would help, but the choice of lens may have made it a little worse.
The cards labeling each aircraft were very cool!
I look forward to the new video as always!
