Chapter 1: Pages 37-42 (hurt)
Added 2024-03-14 21:01:59 +0000 UTCI appreciate all of you for being so patient. Motivation has been very rough, worse than I can recall in recent memory. But don't worry, this week I've been feeling better. But it sure does suck not wanting to draw, y'know?
The 2nd act continues to divert from the original. Before I get into the more detailed commentary, a minor thing I like is how I can keep the character of Morales' body guards. More specifically, Natasha and Khali who have very little dialogue in the original chapter one. Then there's Gwen who's completely different from the other two with how laid back she is. I dunno, I really like these 3 and you guys can expect this trio more in the future. Then there's the dynamic with the Port Town Gang, which is also explored more. I like them a lot more now then I did before.
Now considering the differences, one critique I've always held myself of the original was how the Gym fight, as much as I like it, had nothing to do with Ray's tangible goals. In this new version of Ray's fall, Ray's tangible goals and personal fulfillment are explored better now. What do you guys think? Only two major scenes left, praying that I God gives me the strength to go through them faster than I've been working lol. Enjoy!

I love how you convey Ray's anger even if he is masked. I like how this version is serious yet also having comedy. Wasp's reaction to Ray was hilarious. And I love how, even with Ray thwarting the attack, it's Natasha who sedates Wasp and captures him. It gives Ray that promising rookie vibe

2024-03-14 21:45:11 +0000 UTCI think Horse man on page 5 might be my new favorite slightly cursed face. Sorry Lee! I also love how the port town gang are actually sorta scary looking instead of their previous "Bumbling disney bad guys" thing. This new revision is a lot better than the old story which felt a bit rushed and random. Though I have to wonder how Ray escaped this time.
