Hi-diddly-ho, Neighbourinos!

Usually I do these things with Carrie, but she's just hopped on a plane back home to Scotland to visit her family. Apparently her dad has a birthday or something. I dunno. We'll all miss her terribly, but she'll be back in two short weeks, so we'll just have to soldier on without her...

*sniffle*

Anywho, we recently had the pleasure of having Buddy and Bread over to visit for a bit, but now they've gone home to America...

Oh god...

They're all leaving...

WHY DOES EVERYONE I LOVE LEAVE ME?! IS IT BECAUSE I SHACKLE THEM TO THE RADIATOR IN THE WINDOWLESS BUNKER IN THE WOODS, FORCING THEM TO SUBSIST ON A LEAN DIET OF CORNMEAL AND WHATEVER COCKROACHES OR RACCOONS OR SPUNKY, MYSTERY-LOVING TEENS WANDER TOO CLOSE you know, upon further reflection, it's probably that exact thing.

In other, more coherent news, I've been able to get back to editing SAOA, which in and of itself is an enormous relief after the last month or so of computer malfunctions. I do not wish to tempt fate again by giving deadlines, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel!

Speaking of which, I'd like to get back to it, if that's alright. My editing hands are getting itchy. Oh, those are the hands of Oscar-winning film editor Michael Kahn that I secretly stole and grafted onto myself so that I may gain his powers.

Don't tell him, though. I hear he's been getting suspicious why his hands are suddenly 54 years younger and Canadian. I swear, if any of you narcs rat me out, I'mma come after you with my Muhammad Ali hands! YOU THINK I DON'T GOT 'EM?! YOU REALLY WANNA TAKE THAT CHANCE?!?!
