Announcement 24/10/2025

A short announcement today to confirm that the next story on the writing schedule is An Impractical Guide to Godhood.

Its proper (crazy and tyrranical) implementation is going to begin...as soon as possible.

It is not really possible to be more accurate, not because I lack inspiration, but due to the fact that today, for the first time in...it should be around 7-8 years...I am changing my old computer for a new model. The repeated problems of the old stuff I had made it an ugly necessity (the problems included repeated crashes, inability to see some videos and images without interruptions, total incapacity to run any games like Hades 2, etc...) and it was time to admit the inevitable (though Tzeentch will be shot and re-shot for this conspiration, then we will shoot Vashtorr and the other parasites for good measure).

Anyway, I hope it will take only a couple of days, and I will be able to properly begin releasing the tale of the Legion of Doom by next week.

The penguins will return, readers, and not in the way you expect...

Bests,

The average Astartes...does not live to a millennia. With the constant problem of unending war, wounds unable to be fully healed and everything else, the Astartes life-expectancy is extremely complicated to assess in normal circumstances, and everything goes hayware once you include Warp Storms and Warp Travel. As for Dante and Sigismund, these are exceptional Champions of their kind, and in no way can be a reasonable standard to apply to the rank and file of the Astartes.

Question, why does Eidilon say astartes life expectancy is 1000 years? Its not. In lore astartes life expectancy is vague. But we know several marines are over 1000 years old, Dante being most notable. And several marines in the great crusade went through an accelerated aging due to a certain xenos. I think Dantioch was aged by about 3000 years. Space marine's have no set life expectancy but are usually expected to live 400 or so years before dying in battle. That said they are functionally unaging mostly, they get slower by small amounts past the 1000 year mark (Sigismund) and deteriorate from there, but not massively, but they still live very long lives, though not infinite as the same afformentioned xenos aged several astartes to dust which implies they have a set life span and that its just so long that no one knows the limit since most die in battle long before before hitting said limit.

Best of luck with the new computer and I am looking forward to the update.

How far? Lol, since the old computer was crashing down, I was barely able to get killed by Hecate twice before abandoning. I hope to get far past that once I will have everything in order with my new computer...
