Even with an ability to be in two locations at the same time, with Earth being in complete chaos (as Pluto hadn't yet impacted, but Apophis did its best to raze any form of civiliation to the ground) and the need to organise a world evacuation basically from scratch, Cassiopeia was way too busy to go gallivanting to another world. Plus she's the Empress of Europa. Not a good idea to have your sovereign missing at such a critical stage of your reign, it tends to spread panic...

I would like to clarify, I did understand correctly that Cassiopeia has the ability to be in two places at once but didn't use it to immediately follow Dumbledore instead she spent 66 days helping with the evacuation and only left after her Earth was destroyed. Is that right?

While I'm glad a new chapter has come out, I don't really like how this other version of Alexandra is no doubt going to be more powerful and knowledgeable than the original version, which frankly takes away from Alexandra's uniqueness (and she is going to be in Alex's world for 12 moons, so an entire year???). In my opinion, it makes Alex seem lackluster in comparison, which is something that in my mind is a bad thing for a main character. I was ok with the world traveling thing if it was rare, and only involving Alexandra, but now suddenly Dumbledore can send 20000 people through no problem?? I thought dimensional travel was a big deal. Also, her affinity is now lightning and not dark anymore? I thought she has to go through a ritual to finalize that change, which is something I was really looking forward too. Also, she says she has a new weapon, please don't tell me that the reforging of Clarent was done off-screen. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this chapter.

2025-10-11 14:59:32 +0000 UTCHonestly, I am not a fan of this at all. I did not particularly like the alternate dimension aspects earlier and this is just so much worse. A full chapter about another version of things and trying to understand everything and now it is significantly impacting the main world is just not good at all. I am not pleased; I was hoping those few mentions of things earlier could just be it. Instead we have to deal with a bunch more and significant impacts of them on the main world. Honestly, it is just disappointing.
