Rumors - Introduction

All right, I want to drop you into this story, but I also don't want you to feel lost or confused about it's exact placement in the overall timeline. It is a time jump of two years, which will be established in the very first panel of the next comic. But.. the main site still has an on-going story, right? So where exactly does that leave us? 

I have a Google Sheet where I keep up with all that. This is one section of it. There are still three Chapters to get through for the main site before it would ever reach this story there. Twenty-Five chapters in total before the conclusion.

As the orange arrows indicate, this $10 tier will cover lots of continuous chapters on it's own, post-time-jump. All adult. NSFW situations and art in them. 

The entire beach storyline was originally going to be in the same vein as an anime filler episode. Perhaps canon, but not important. Well, it actually ended up fitting into the overall plot very well, so I decided to make it canon anyway. The only things you have to know for it are what's already been spoiled in the preview images. This is the last summer before Pumpkin goes to college, Tarragon is Sister X, and Ellie is taking the mantle of Alpha Female (whether she wants to or not.) Caleb will appear along the rest of the cast, as I've shown, and Vu will follow shortly after. It's been a very long goal to reach, but our 5 Man Band was always intended to be together.  Pumpkin and Quinn's current conversation on the main site will also have ramifications on this story. Pumpkin's birthday will probably explain much of what's going on in this story, nearly at the same time.

As the Chapter title "Rumors," and band history, implies there will be love triangles and high drama. This is the story arc where 'everyone fucks up' to some degree and I'm super excited to present it to you. 

Also, there is a chapter in the middle of that list I labeled 'semi-canon.' On this I will do some degree of story requests from readers. Anything you want to see happen that wont necessarily have long term repercussions on the plot. It'll be just for fun, and hopefully ridiculous, with your help. This (along with Chapter 22) I put in as 'catch-alls' for leftover story elements or 'self indulgence.' I'm so glut with situations for these characters, I'm running out of places to fit them in. These two points in the comic are when it hits 'cruising altitude' and the story can essentially side quest itself. 

In short.. don't worry if you don't immediately know the 'why' of everything you're about to read. I'm factoring that in to every comic I make. It will either be explained soon after, or the main site comic will slowly fill you in. I will have a bit of mystery to some things here and there, but know it will be followed up on. Nothing will be done to purposely frustrate you or be overly-coy.
