No, I didn't spell it "thicc". I respect the English language too much. Regardless, the MSI MEG Z690 Tomahawk motherboard has an impressively robust PCB. It feels rigid without the benefit of a backplate, and everywhere I look on the board instills confidence. Visual confidence. The kind that is totally useless when evaluating a motherboard.
Now, just wait as I attempt to track down my digital calipers and begin mobo thickness comparisons. I hope they aren't lost - like so many things around here post tree damage/construction. (A lot of crap was moved very quickly - thrown into boxes or totes, placed in stacks who knows where.)
Getting back to the point, if there can be one at 2:50 AM as I write this, I will actually evaluate this motherboard in some way beyond a physical examination. A CPU might be involved, and possibly even some BLAZING fast 4800 MT/s DDR5, since this is the only DDR5 I have.
