We'll see how that story ends in like 6 weeks when the pre-paid Visa arrives hopefully. A few new WD red shucks and a Seagate 12tb have replaced them already. Seems like these were some special 12tb Toshiba drives I guess. Had good luck with them in the past too, in general, but these were ... not good. :-(

2020-10-05 02:38:19 +0000 UTCSorry to hear about Brett's trouble with the 12 GB Toshiba X300 hard drives. I've got a few X300 drives with a few years of service that work great. I've got two 6TB running together in Raid 0 as well a 5 TB model.
