the whole mentality of the MC is that he wants to play the troupe of the "background character that no one cares about, but is actually super strong ?" and he wants to live that feeling in every possible encounter, it kinda gets overshadowed because he doesn't explicitly say it out loud and mainly talks about being a hero all the time. He'll throw away any pride he has if it lets him look like the biggest mob character ever even tho that sometimes backfires on him. loving the reactions too btw
