Woof, sketches are supposed to be the quick part but this one took forever! First I had to do a smaller 'test' sketch of how I was gonna arrange all these characters on the screen without making things too crowded and busy. Then I realized I still wasn't seeing enough of the surrounding room for the sense of 'space' to work, so I basically extended the borders of the drawing and separated the girls a bit more. And even then the sketch itself took a lot of re-positioning to pull off (I had to re-draw Misty so many times that she basically looks like one big scribble now), but I think I finally got something that I can ink! And yes, I can make sense of which lines I'm actually supposed to ink and which I'm supposed to ignore :P

If you can't make the image out, it's 4 lovely ladies from Pokemon finally being outmatched by members of Team Rocket ! I guess they finally wised up and realized a night-time home invasion that includes taking the trainers as well as their Pokemon is really a better strategy than announcing yourselves in broad daylight with a song and dance!

I'm a bit intimidated thinking of all the work I still need to do to get this finished for April! I think I'll post regular updates to the progress as I go, though some will have to be either cropped or emailed out. Really hope you enjoy the idea so far though, despite how mean it is, hehe
