When you're an extremely powerful corporation already messing with the inexplicable, fundamental threads of the universe, it doesn't take much to fuck up and create some unintended results.
Ms. Fuhuo's "Fuhuo Pharmaceuticals" are proud peddlers in unprecedented technology for the supposed medical aid of many (if they can afford the decades of debt), their recent "Phoenix Project" supposedly selling effective immortality. Though something important seems to have backfired during R&D...

I've had multiple urges to write a short story around this general idea, or some variation of "Bao identity theft", but everytime it ends up just becoming sci-fi/fantasy world setting lmao. A bit long in the tooth.
Wanted to experiment a bit with drawing an actual scene since I've been lazy about it more and more over the years.
