Ok cool, glad I wasn't crazy there lol! OMG I totally guessed it on the backstory being a reference too! I totally missed the other references though, that's actually hilarious. He's totally Spider-Man right?! He's powering up so much now!

OMG the karate school needs to GO :P Ok I'm glad O'Clock isn't an MHA character I forgot :P Oh yeah you mean Quicksilver? I totally read the Kanoko thing as "Lobster Stand" because of my Jojo brainrot! HAHAHA KD is the Fujimi of this show, I love it!!! I mean, it seems like there could be some accommodations made? Not sure about the logistics though....!

2026-01-25 14:14:12 +0000 UTCOpening the scene with the funky music and Okinawa kinda threw me off… hey if it weren’t for All Might, this series would’ve turned into a Toku show real fast! 😅 (Or… tofu show? 🤷♂️) Seems like both Tsukauchi and All Might exchanged gifts they got from others -All Might got his as a thank you while the cop got leftover souvenirs from Koichi and Pop. … do I even want to know what was going on with the alien karate training girl starved demihuman school? Moving right along…. The villain in question - the most likely theory the characters were reasoning with is that he had training under O’Clock (never heard of him, btw). But apparently he can fire eight punches off, twice as many as his mentor in one second. His Quirk kinda reminded me of an X-Men scene where the guy moved so fast it looked like everything else stood still. No Kanoko this week, she’s probably off at a lobster stand. Also Knuckleduster for Koichi seems to be similar as Fujimi is for Baku. This is what NOT to do. Now, how do we get a praying mantis friendly doorknob? 🤔

AfO even talked about collecting data, just like he talked with the bee user. For Kamayan, the mantis guy, it's funny that his backstory, being kidnapped and forced into an experiment that let him in his current state, is basically Kamen Rider Ichigo backstory, and since he is friend with the two guys inspired by Kamen Rider, you can bet that it's not a coincidence in the writting lol. The other ref here was the four guys that tried to pick up girls, their face are clearly based on Mecha Godzilla and another Robo Kaiju. I really love all the inspiration from western super heroes and toku in Vigilante. So, now Koichi can stuck to wall while shooting thing by his hands while being a crawler... It's Spider-man in a way lol. More seriously, his new ability, even if he can use it for attack (I mean, he pushed Pop with it by accident so there is some power to it), the fact that he can deflect is already good enough. It might be used only on defense, but using his power to deflect an attack might be more useful than an attack without enough power.
