One-Punch Man 3x08 "Ninja Tale" - reaction & review

Oh wow, Child Emperor REALLY just needs to be in charge of the whole Hero Association at this point! His parts were pretty fun actually, and we also got a brief ninja tale starring Flashy Flash! I guess we're doing a focus on a few S-Class heroes for the last few eps?! Guess we'll find out! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Thanks for being here! And no worries about last time, I get the frustration, I think a lot of fans have been feeling it! Glad to hear it's not directed at me specifically :) That's true, if someone cares enough to be angry about it, at least they're still invested! This one felt better right? I felt it too! Apparently a lot of fans really liked the fight scenes! Ohhh yeah you might be right about Drive Knight! That tracks. Flashy Flash is so op right? I'm really glad that they're maybe addressing some of the problems! OMG he's my Mista?!?!!?! I knew I knew that voice! Let's see, Saitama was last seen going in the sewer 2 eps ago I think?!

I’m just sitting here watching your reaction while having pizza for lunch. 😁 If you wanna know why Flashy Flash sounds familiar, he’s Mista. 👀 Okay I probably went off a little bit last week and it might’ve seemed like I was frustrated at you - I’m not. No one ever gets mad at you during reactions (although we hold no responsibility for emotional damage. 😁). I heard once that anger is a good indication sometimes - if you’re irritated (see what I did there?) it means you still care. People in general like the story, that seems to be the thing perturbing then the most (I have not read the manga so I cannot speak.) I WILL give this week some props though, it felt less… haphazard. There wasn’t a whole lot of storyline but all the bouncing around was starting to make me feel a bit of narrative whiplash. I am not going to say the animation this time is some of the best I’ve ever seen - but compared to what we had been getting it feels like there was at least a tad more fluidity to it - Flashy Flash didn’t look quite as wooden when delivering dialogue and the fight scene was at least somewhat interesting without being chaotic. I think Drive Knight might be the mole based on what Child Emperor discovered - why else would he know exactly where the hostage is, and who else would he able to neatly disassemble his parts? Although I been suspicious of him for several weeks. Gotta say the Flash fight kinda reminded me of the first time we saw Gojo throw down - it’s pretty much like, “he’s SO OP this isn’t even a contest.” For some reason it just looked a little similar. It’s not high quality animation, hasn’t been all season - but at least for once, it felt like they might have started to fix some of the criticisms. Now can anyone remember the last time we saw Saitama?
