Oh man, someone is targeting preggos?? It's insidious but clever enough to work - except that Maomao's here to investigate! Could this all link back to Suirei? Who is the concubine who was just targeted?! What is happening?! I can't wait to find out, brain don't fail me now!!!! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hahaha this frog is going to be the biggest deal of the year :P Very interesting about Shisui's VA, and don't worry, I won't look anything up! That's the thing, how can you be totally certain in situations like these? Hahahaha omg I can see how one's mind would wander to Dr. Stone! That's interesting about the princess, it's messed up that she can't inherit but I'm glad she's in a little less danger because of it! I'm sure there's all kinds of clues!!! I'll keep showing up with my frog :P

2025-09-24 22:50:36 +0000 UTCShisui, Xiaolan and Maomao are just a cute and wholesome trio, on an alternative universe, I would have seen Shisui and Maomao adopting Xiaolan, because the two are very much alike and Xiaolan is just so "lil sister" to them that it is endearing to see it. But yeah, first mystery of the show, that start with the scented oils, Maomao was pretty quick to discover it, even if she blame herself for not being quick enough (but without her, the worst could have happened). I love how Maomao didn't need to say much, just talking about a different design for the dress and both Gyokuyou and Hongniang catched up what she wanted to say. They said in season one that Gyokuyou wasn't just pretty, but clever too, and that a perfect exemple. Also, without saying much, but the final of season 1, don't hold much face to the final of THIS season. To be honest, there is several event of this season, that are higher than the final of season 1 imo, so yeah, be prepared, you will need you frog friend. Now, as a support for crying or laughing ? Why not both lol.

2025-09-05 20:23:45 +0000 UTCI have to say when you finally understand the meaning of the frog, your intro here will take on a whole different definition, that’s why half of your patrons are currently on the floor laughing. 🐸. Okay, let’s introduce Shisui (I do need to clarify a point about her, she IS very much into insects, not just drawing them, much like Maomao and poison.) 🐸. Her seiyuu is quite traveled, as you know her as all of the following characters: Chiyuki (Death Parade), Michimiya (Haikyu - the girl team’s captain), Nobarra (Jujutsu Kaisen), Raphtalia (Rising of the Shield Hero), Makoto (MHA: Vigilantes), and Frill (Oshi No Ko). 🐸. This also reminds me, to warn you: do not search for information on this season or any characters involved in it while watching it, for your own safety. 🐸. Regarding the episode itself, there’s one major overlying question - how much is conjecture, and how much is certainty? 🐸. Maomao of course, has a bit of PTSD about this from the last such incident, but she’s not wanting to ignore something she knows could be a clue, either. 🐸. See, the show treats us the same way - it’s going to present you with a lot of different information - what do YOU think is relevant? 🐸? Is it wrong that when they mentioned jasmine tea I thought of Dr. Stone and Senku using it to create a certain… odor? 🐸? Now the real question here is the scented oils and how they are mixing… and whether or not the result was intentional. 🐸. Maomao herself didn’t even think about it until she started noticing all the scents mixing together, which goes to show you that normal stuff can be lethal if applied incorrectly. 🐸. Fortunately this time all it was bugging was her nose. 🐸. Sniffing Lihua’s attendants might’ve been slightly over the top, though. 🐸. To address a possible question you might think about later: Lingli, Gyokuyou’s daughter, wouldn’t be as much of a target because she can’t inherit the empire - a male child would be of far greater concern for someone who was targeting the country. 🐸. Obviously, I have seen this already but I see certain things that were put in the episodes that are actually really cleverly placed clues, now that I know what to look for regarding future developments, but I certainly won’t tell you what they are yet. 🐸. After all… you aren’t even aware what the frog is for and we intend to keep it that way. 😁🐸.
