Alright, well I've submitted my entry for Surody's TG Animation Contest.
The winners will be announced in a livestream of all the entries which should be happening in a week or so. We're supposed to keep the animation under wraps until the livestream, but you can maybe get a sense of it from the screenshot above.
I'll keep you updated on the livestream when it gets worked out.
I tried to get ambitious with a few elements of my entry... And consequently created the single most torturous shot I've ever done. I hope it's impressive, because it took me two weeks of swearing to finally make it work.
Taking part in the contest and talking to other TG animators has given me some interesting new ideas that I'd like to explore going forwards.
In general, I'm really sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything solid. I want to take things in some interesting new directions, but I'm still trying to feel out what those directions are.
Anyway, I am infinitely glad and humbled by every one of you who has decided to stick around, and should be back with interesting new things soon.
