She escaped her nursing home and was going to visit her daughter in the cemetery. Rose covers for her and pretends she is her mother when the police arrive looking for her. Fitzgerald was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performance in a Comedy Series for the Mother's Day episode. In addition, she was an Academy Award and Tony Award nominee, and an Emmy Award winner. In 2020, was listed at number 30 on The Irish Times list of Ireland's greatest film actors.
