How Horny?

It has been brought to my attention that some feel that the overall level of smut is too low, but I also know that some feel that the modest smut quotient is a strong point in this story’s favor. I don’t really intend to have many gratuitous sex scenes, focusing more on climactic moments for that kind of thing, but I am interested in what y’all think.

Feel free to vote for anything you want to see, this is more about gauging interest. I will write what is fun and enjoyable for me to regardless, so as much as I appreciate the sentiment “write whatever you want” isn’t very useful a response when asked for an opinion :p. Don’t worry about pressuring me.

Emrys really should focus more on trying to get laid as a general rule. If a hot girl has appeared on screen, he should make some active attempts to sleep with her even if it causes logistical issues. Rosie, Dierdre, Yael, Pepper, Peppery… figure it out, Emrys! MAXIMIZE HORNI

Focus on the main three girls: Syl, Sandara, and Sosima. By most metrics, that’s enough hot girl for a normal guy. We don’t really need more than that, and will focus more on those core relationships.

Dabbling and one night stands: Emrys is a good looking guy. He would not have trouble finding sexual partners in any port in the shackles (except Kepre Dua.) He should lean into that and sleep around; why not? He can justify it as grinding for more perks.

Expanded romantic options: If a girl is attractive and onscreen with any frequency, then they are on the table for casual sex. Yael or Rosie are on the table here, if Emrys can get his hands on cold resistance or size changing magic.

Sex as a tool: Emrys is dead sexy, and Curtis knows for a fact that seduction is easier than one might think in this system. Sex can be used to get favors, information, access to areas, trust… it’s versatile.

Sex scenes with characters other than Emrys. Show Cog’s job with Pepper, for example. These will frequently be relegated to bonus chapters.

Bonus chapter sex scenes. We can have Emrys get into more sexual encounters by having them happen outside of the mainline plot as a side thing. Sometimes they will be from Emrys’s pov, but they also may sometimes be from the POV of whoever he’s sleeping with.

Horny Quest Rewards: Remember the ring that Curtis used to seduce Syl VERY quickly? What ever happened to items like that? Toss more of those into the quest rewards.

Horny Quests: not only horny quest rewards, why not also have quests and random encounters specifically oriented around searching for booty, as is the pirate way. These will often have rewards related to their horny nature.

On another related note, how about this whole planned perk orgy? Curtis is fairly invested in it already, so it’s probably happening one way or another, but how hard are we going? This is the option for staying the course and holding out until we can get 96 girls in one go, probably after we reach Port Peril.

46 is more manageable, and we can do it closer to home.

Sosima was wading through cheap prostitutes and outcasts on the outskirts of town. Fuck it, try to hire tons of them to join the crew on the condition they sleep with the captain once for a short period. They will have a lot to learn, but on the job training is the way of the Shackles. Sosima seems strangely onboard with this plan, but we will still need to hire girls from the House of Amber Silk to fill out the list, eating up most of the gold Cog is about to make.

21 is pretty doable with the recruitment gambit without burning too much cash. Sosima can be very persuasive.

Give ourself a budget of 5 girls before we have a 91 girl orgy in Port Peril. That will give us one perk now and some sexual freedom/wiggle room at the cost of a slightly smaller eventual gains. Proceed to kick self over Pepper.

Try to get Pepper involved in the orgy if we can manage it before she leaves, assuming that we do something in Goatshead. What’s the harm in trying?
