So let me SIMPLIFY it for you:

zkSync is a technology that makes it cheaper and faster to do things on Ethereum.

zkSync is a platform designed to reduce transaction TIME and FEES on the Ethereum network,

It uses Zero-Knowledge Rollup (ZK-Rollup) technology to achieve this. 

ZK-Rollups generate PROOFS that validate transactions WITHOUT revealing private information, thereby maintaining high security and privacy for users.

It WILL release its own token in the future, we just don't know EXACTLY when.

I assume in 6 months to a year.

Most people don't know this as they have not PUBLICLY announced this.

But I checked COINMARKETCAP and they are already LISTED which tells me they WILL.

To clear any confusion, zkSync now has 2 networks:

• zkSync 1.0 (now called zkSync LITE) 

• zkSync 2.0 (now called zkSync ERA) 

Both will operate simultaneously as two separate networks.  

We are going to focus on the ERA MAINNET - as this is likely the important one.

Create a METAMASK wallet and click on the network (Eth Mainnet) in the top centre.

Click on Add network.

Scroll down to the bottom of the network list and click Add network manually.

Add the following information and click “Save”:

• Network Name: zkSync Era Mainnet
• New RPC URL: https://mainnet.era.zksync.io
• Chain ID: 324
• Currency Symbol: ETH
• Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.zksync.io/
• WebSocket URL: wss://mainnet.era.zksync.io/ws

# Bridge Funds to zkSync

You are going to transfer funds FROM metamask TO zkSync Era Mainnet.

You do this at bridge.zksync.io by connecting your wallet. 

Select the amount you wish to bridge and click “DEPOSIT”. 

Once you have done that, you can just SWAP it back.

Swap back to metamask by clicking the ARROWS, 

choosing the amount you wish to bridge back to Ethereum and click “WITHDRAW”.

# Interact with the zkSync Ecosystem.

zkSync has an entire ECOSYSTEM of protocols.

Here are some top zkSync ecosystem projects you could INTERACT with to MAXIMISE your chances of a potential zkSync airdrop:
