APC Home Update 1.08 Released: Night Lights

I'm about to head out for a long overdue vacation for a few weeks, so expect things to be a bit quiet in the land of mod updates until I get back. Good news is, I plan to jump back into PANPC and PACE when I do, so stay tuned there.

For now, I have a new APC Home Update for you. I'm gradually running out of things to do with this project, so it may be a while before I do another update.

This mostly-cosmetic update came about because I noticed how impractical the APC was as a place to sleep. Stretching out over three seats is fine, but even with the lights turned off, there's still way too much light happening in the forward half of the vehicle. And that kitchen light bulb is a killer.

So I did a general revamp of the sleep area, starting with rewiring the lights. They all turn on by default now, once you've fixed the APC. The light switch turns off most of them, and dims most of the others (the dash lights and the rear map area lights remain unchanged). And the kitchen bulb now goes out completely, making sleep at least possible.

The bedside oil lamp is now toggleable, further cutting the light in the sleep area. Turn off the mains, and you have a comfy little domestic zone. Turn off both the mains and the lamp, and you have a dark, cozy sleep spot.

I also added a bit of new storage. The metal cabinet just above the kitchen area is now a working storage container, independent of the APC's shared storage system.

Finally, a working clock makes a triumphant return to the APC!

I originally removed the Nuka Clock code (because it required the availability of debug functions that not everyone may have enabled) and that's going to stay gone. But I've added an alarm clock to the bedside table with a functioning time activator, using code that doesn't rely on debug.
