Character Card : Adoka
Added 2023-03-17 22:12:40 +0000 UTCAdoka is a Mephalin (squidperson), one of the first faces you come across after arriving on the island chain. She runs the Blue Lagoon Bar and knows how to make a tasty Blue Hawaiian or just pour you a glass of Space Love Laager. Be sure to check in with her often to help with quests but watch out that you keep any criminal talk to a minimum.
Adoka is a free-spirited kind of gal and believes that conflicts can always be solved with a good drink and a chat. She’s never a fan of fighting or chaos unless the chaos is of the kinky variety.
When she’s not tending bar, you can sometimes find her working on her tan down by the beach.
Notes - I'm not sure where the exact idea for Adoka came up. I knew I'd need a cute bartender girl for quests and of course for the heroes to have a good drink. Then I realized a squidperson would be perfect for that. Her outfit design is kind of a mix of kind of like a local girl aesthetic. This has been one of the hardest things during character design, making something that looks like it could work in a tropical setting mixed in with sci fi.
There is nothing really in her outfit that is high-tech, so I probably missed the mark on this one, but I still really enjoy how it all came together.
