Some Jerk RIFFS: Disneyland Opening Day Telecast w/ Spazz Master and Doggans (Part 1)

On July 17, 1955, Disneyland held its opening ceremonies and ABC's live television cameras were there to document the madness as best as they could. They called it "Dateline Disneyland," and now, sixty-one years later, I've teamed up with Charlie Callahan (aka Spazz Master) and David Ganssle (aka Doggans) to riff that historic telecast apart! 

This is part one of three (I know, me releasing a video in three parts? Unheard of!) of a full-length riff of the ENTIRE 70-minute telecast. Although I'm releasing it in three parts, I'm ONLY charging my patrons for it once (and I'm not adding credits until the end of part three, in case you were wondering where the usual Executive Producer and Special Thanks credits went). Part one will be made public on Sunday. I'm still working on parts two and three, and I'll release them early to my $3+ patrons as I finish them, and then publicly sometime next week.

Some Jerk With A Camera has obviously always contained a nice healthy dollop of MST3K/Rifftrax DNA, but this is my first out-and-out riff video. I'm very very happy with it so far, and I hope you'll agree.

NOTE TO VIEWERS IN GERMANY: This telecast is where Walt Disney's famous "To all who come to this happy place" speech originally comes from. The audio of that speech has been released on various Disneyland soundtrack albums over the years, and for that reason (and apparently no other reason), YouTube's delightful copyright bots detected that audio in this video, claimed monetization and blocked it in Germany.
