This falls into the category of "Games i swear are good and cool even if it looks and sounds like I'm having a terrible time." This came out in 2002 and it stayed in 2002. I've never met another person who played it. But I did. It even had a sequel which i assume was made specifically for me, the game's only fan.
I remember this game being extremely difficult but worth it because it's just such a unique experience. Everything about this game has intent, from the graphics to the cut scenes, to the story and gameplay, the whole vibe and feel of it. It does everything it's own way and there's still not really a game like it.
What I didn't remember was the hilarious tutorial man obsessed with killing and beating on dummies. This guy might hate dummies even more than i do but i appreciate his dedication to eradicating them with furious violence.
Like all tutorials it completely sapped the life force out of me and made me go to bed in a nihilistic blackout before getting to show off any of the actual game. But that's okay. Now that I've refreshed my memory on how to beat up dummies, I'll be ready next time.
So you better get ready too, because I'm telling you now this game totally rips, and you don't wanna be one of the dummies i get to beatin on.
