Weekly Update Post (15/12/25)

Hey everyone and welcome to what should be the last weekly update post before the Christmas event update. Not got too much to share with you this week other than a quick update on what's finished and what I still have left to do.

What's Done?

So far I've finished scenes for Nyssa x Celestia x MC, Selene x Freya x MC & a final Nyssa x Celestia x Selene x Freya x MC scene for the finale which comes with an extra twist. This 5 way scene at the end was slightly impromptu, however as I was writing the conclusion for the event, I realised something was missing to tie the whole thing together. After making this scene I now think it does just that. Overall, I'm happy with the quality and selection of content for this event and only have one last thing to do.

What's Left?

All I've got left to finish for this event is Harlu's scene which is going to act as a sort of epilogue to the event. Then I'll be playtesting and running through the whole thing a couple of times to make sure I haven't missed any bugs, making a winter themed menu & itch icon for the game and also going through and removing some plugin commands for all the scenes for the transition to 1600x900 screen size. I should hopefully be able to get this all done within the next few days and will then be getting an early access out to you guys as soon as possible.

What's next?

After I've gotten a release out, I'll probably get started on a couple things for the upcoming patch before taking a few days off for Christmas. I'm looking forward to getting back to regular patches and releases as, although I've enjoyed making these seasonal events and patches, I'd like to get back to expanding the world and stories of Z2HH. January should see the release of the Adventurer's Guild update and from then on I'll probably be releasing a couple of polls to see what everyone would like to see next.

Personal

Like I said, this week's post is shorter than usual, since all I've got to say is what I've done and what I've still go to do. I'll also keep the personal section nice and short as well since I'm not sure how many of you even bother reading this part. My music shoutout for this week is This is Lorelei, who's album Holo Boy came out a couple days ago. Also known as Nate Amos and from the band Water from your eyes, he's probably my favourite lyricist right now. I just think his writing is always interesting and some of his lines off of Dancing in the Club from his previous album have always stayed in my head. Off this album my favourite is probably the opening track "I can't fall" but the whole thing is pretty good front to back. I won't bother with sports since I haven't watched anything this weekend as I try to finish the scenes for next patch.

Closing Notes

So there's a small little update on what you can expect from next patch and also when you can expect it. I'm happy with the quality of the scene's I've got done this week and think you should all enjoy them when they come out.
