What Should I Cover Next? YOU DECIDE!

Hey, patrons! I'm wrapping up the writing phase on an upcoming vid about David Lynch. But I'm not sure what I should do after that. I thought now would be a good time to get your input on what I should cover next.

The following options include working titles I've just come up with, which should give you some indication as to what the video will be about. But allow me to elaborate below:

The first option is an analysis of the game Cyberpunk 2077. Specifically I will be contextualizing it as the unceremonious death knell of cyberpunk as a genre conceit.

The second option is an analysis of the spooky ARG Catastrophe Crow/Crow 64, specifically as a sort of manufactured spectacle akin to Baudrillard's understanding of the Gulf War.  If you've been keeping up with my livestreams on the topic, you probably already know where I'm going with this.

The third option is an metatextual analysis of the ongoing series known as Hiding in My Home. Basically, I think the work can be understood as a metacommentary on ARGs as a whole and the struggle to connect with others through digital media.

Comments

Oh, big fan of that last one. Hiding in My Home made me think I was watching a shitpost, laugh, startled me with a not-jumpscare, and then made me laugh again. Hehahaha! That said, I'd love to see a Cyberpunk is Dead and we killed it video. Reminds me of Curio's recent video on the videogame Cloudpunk. A Catastrophe Crow autopsy would be interesting as well. I wonder if it's a cautionary tale for people who make ARGs?
