Pokemon - Cynthia
Added 2024-12-09 22:26:53 +0000 UTCI'm ready to show off my next piece. As you all saw, Cynthia won the fan poll by an overwhelming margin (59 votes!) There's no question this Pokemon champion has won the hearts and minds of my patrons.
The original suggestion asked for Cynthia to be dazed with chloroform and hypnotized by...well...a Hypno. I ran with the idea, choosing Team Rocket member Sabrina as the villain. I referenced an image of Hypno and placed him on a box behind Cynthia. The Hypno is using a pendulum to keep Cynthia in a trance. This will, of course, be animated.

Psychic type Pokemons were perfect tools for evil organization to used for kidnapping, yet that was almost never explored in anime, outside that one episode with that more competent Team R with Drowzee. Unless it was later in the series, I admit I watched Pokemon many years ago and even then only got a little past Ash getting all three Gen 2 starters.
