VERMILLION | Changes for 2025

I hope that everyone is having a good holiday season with as little stress as possible!

With 2025 fast approaching, I wanted to let you all know that as of January 1st, I will officially be on a break.

This has been a long time coming for me and I've been fighting burnout for a few months now and just pushing it aside. This will hopefully not be a permanent thing, but I need to take a step away to enjoy some other things and hope to rekindle my love for creating in the process.

What does this mean for Patrons?

There will be no new content for the Vermillion part of tiers. Arabella and Jaque's content will continue as usual.

The solo Vermillion tier will not be paused, as it will still contain all of the content that I have released thus far as an option for people who don't want to do single shop purchases. However, there will be no new content released from me (Vermillion) for the time being.

I am posting this now to give everyone a heads up that would like to drop my tier or switch from Look Book to a Bella and Jaque tier instead. This is not mandatory, of course, but I don't want anyone to feel slighted about my lack of releases despite being subbed. ♥

February will make four years that AM has been a thing, and I appreciate the journey and support from everyone thus far! I just need to give my brain a reset.

I hope that everyone has a good holiday season and a happy new year! I will see you all again soon, and I hope you can look forward to that time. ♥

P.S - Before I forget! I do have another release WIP for this month! With any luck it will be out later this week.

Hello, Jaque here!

Here are the previews for July for Jaque's tier! These are currently finished and just awaiting some 7.0 polishing with the new shaders, so I appreciate your patience as I learn the new tools and test out what is possible now! Anticipate that my content will be released in the first week of July, but I don't want to guarantee the 3rd just in case it takes me a bit longer to prep everything.

There will be an outfit for masculine models and feminine models, as well as a hair style for each.

Additionally, I will be updating any of my mods that do not convert properly with Textools (starting with most recent then moving backwards chronologically). This will be done over time, so bear with me! I'll be sure to announce any mods that are updated as I get them out.

7.0 News!

Hello everyone!

 We're less than a week out from Dawntrail early access so we wanted to update you all with some information regarding modding and our content.

 As stated before, we do plan to fix any of our paid content that is broken, however we want to elaborate on this since there are some amazing and powerful tools that will be available to the community that will allow you to reinstall and update your mods to be 7.0 ready right away. Please check out Textools in the textools discord (https://discord.gg/ffxivtextools) for the full documentation on the 7.0 version of textools.

Without going into too much technical jargon, the tldr is that this tool will allow you to update your fashion and hair ttmp2s to be 7.0 ready. You won't need to wait on creators to do so! That said, since this process is going to be very accessible and easy for users to do, hair and fashion content won't be broken and you can continue to use AM's mods once our tools our back up without having to wait on us by using textools in addition to penumbra. (they are linked now as well, please read about that in textools discord).

We do understand that some more complex mods may need to be repacked, and so in the rare case a modpack cannot easily be updated in textools, we plan to update it manually. We will be playing the new expansion and learning the new tools ourselves, so please allow us time to get to this. Otherwise, please use Textools to update your mods (especially as many of you have swapped them to different items or have a customized set up). We will be releasing new content in July as well that should be 7.0 ready, so you won't need to worry about updating these!

Plans for pre and post 7.0!

Hello!

With 7.0 coming up within two months, we wanted to update everyone on our plans moving forward. To preface this, we want to remind everyone that information about how 7.0s graphical changes will impact mods is still developing, and so if large new developments come forward, they may impact our plans. However, as of right now with the information available to us, this is the plan!

Pre 7.0 mods in June
We will continue as usual, which means YES we will be releasing mods in June. Since the servers will be open until the very end of the month, you will still get your rewards for the month of June. Since this is our last month with our pre 7.0 OCs, we want to provide some content for the last screenshots before the update.

TLDR: June will still have new releases.

Plan for July
As of right now, it is looking like tools and fashion/hair mods will not be down for an exceedingly long period of time. ( This is subject to change if new developments happen with the tools and support for modding). Therefore, our goal is to pick back up as seamlessly as possible. We will be playing the new expac, of course, but we will not be taking time off of creating new content for you. However, we are at the mercy of when the tools come back up ( and we hope you will be patient along side us, as we want the modding community devs to be able to enjoy the game as well).

 TLDR: We will still be open and will release new content as soon as we are able.

Broken Mods
This is all subject to change based on 7.0 developments. But as of right now it looks as though fashion and hair mods will not be broken beyond repair, and it is possible that they can be updated to be compatible with the new graphics fairly painlessly. That being said, each creator will be handling updates to their backlog separately. Please check discord for details on this, and keep an eye out for announcements from each creator regarding updates and fixes.

TLDR: Hair and fashion mods won't be permanently broken. Stay tuned for backlog fix announcements as we get more information.


Will I have to pay again for mods that get updated/fixed for 7.0?
No! If a mod is updated/fixed for 7.0, you will be given the update for free, since you already purchased the mod. We will have a system set up for verifying the subscription, so you don't need to worry about digging up receipts if you were subbed and are no longer subbed. We can do that on our end.

TLDR: If you already purchased the mod, you will not need to pay again to access the updated version!


We hope that answers some questions and puts you guy at ease. We are always going to consider you all when we're making plans to tackle the expansion update, but things are still a little bit uncertain due to the fact things are still developing, so we ask that you be patient alongside us as we wait to hear and learn more. But know that we are thinking about you, and how to make this all as smooth as possible!

I had a stroke of inspiration and am adding a sixth release, an additional male hair, to the May content. Lately I've released a lot of longer male hair, so I thought a short one would be a nice addition. This can be found in the following tiers:

Update to Kisetsu F

Kisetsu F has an update to include a new optional top which is better suited for mix and match with bottoms that have a lower waist line. Additional fabric has been added below the obi to cover the midriff section. However, the original version of Kisetsu's top should be used with the included hakama, otherwise there may be clipping. The original top is better suited for high-waisted bottoms as well. Please redownload if you have already purchased!
