Complete Bottle Workflow. PT01: Modelling

Welcome to the first part of this Complete Bottle Workflow, where we will look at modelling our wine bottle in Cinema 4D.

We start off by finding our reference and using this as a guide to create our bottle accurately, and along the way utilise all the tools, tips and tricks I use in my day-to-day work to model these types of products. This should give you a great foundation for modelling most types of bottles.

fantastic! I didn't know about the right normal of the polygons, and that can affect reflections, shading etc

Great tutorial! I love how in depth this one is, lots of new tips. I had no idea the "close polygon hole" can make quad geometry, and dissolving some edges before doing a normal move saves me quite a headache. Really like the attention to detail, here, can't wait for the next one!
