Added 2024-02-22 17:24:05 +0000 UTCIn this months video, I have teamed up with Max Schwugier to show you how to create a toothpaste animation using Cinema 4D, Houdini and Redshift.
In part 1 & 2, Max will show you how to animate the toothpaste bottle rolling up, and then simulate the toothpaste, and in my part I will bring the alembic into Cinema 4D where we will create camera animations and light and texture the scene.
This is a really exciting one, and I hope you will find it insightful - this is the first time Houdini is being featured on this page so I'd love to hear your thoughts on if you'd like more in the future.

I think it's very valid to include Houdini in some tutorials. Especially in conjunction with Cinema - something that will be helpful for a lot of artists. And a good way to avoid X-Particles.
