The flap of a bird's wing. The creaking of trees. Slowly, you climb above the mist and the canopy break into wooden platforms, vine bridges, and a mysterious shrine...

Top of the voting list is a snapshot of little village situated amongst the trees. The shrine area has a light elven feel, but otherwise this set is fairly neutral. There's a bit of height in this map to give some vertical play in encounters. Toss a few flying mobs onto the board, or make your party roll a save to grab onto a vine as they're pushed off one of the platforms.

For variants we have the standard time of day changes, but also a few situational ones. Giant nests which may or may not be avian. Portals to other worlds. An exotic marketplace. Carnivorous plants waiting to snatch unsuspecting travelers...
