Pause donations when I reach the final chapter?
Added 2024-05-09 22:07:10 +0000 UTCWhat are your thoughts? When I reach the final chapter, it's going to be a while before I start posting book 2. ( I've only got a single chapter in book 2 done and I'm not sure I like it enough to keep it. There's a lot of work to be done.)
It's nice to have some extra income, but I don't feel right taking money when I have nothing more to offer in return. It feels like stealing. So I just want to hear your blunt, honest thoughts. Should I pause donations?

Pausing is probably the safe option, but ig you could keep them going if you are able to provide other things than chapters that people might be interested in, whatever that may be. More art maybe or updates, maybe even influencing the story.

2024-05-09 22:59:59 +0000 UTCI honestly don’t mind either way. Either way you decide, you’ve told me here to expect a pause in posts and I’ve seen it, so I think it’s fair enough. Don’t be worried that you’re ‘stealing’ money after this post. At some point I’ll look through my subscriptions and if I don’t want to support you, I will unsubscribe. Or I will want to support you and I won’t.
