Laser driver boards arrived

My first 'high current' design ever. Since they don't charge extra for excessive amounts of vias I thought I'd add a few more :)

Laser driver boards arrived

That is a fine board Marco. I have been getting a lot from JLC just lately very good and dead cheap. Given up trying to do double-sided on my laser ;o) can NEVER line it up

Very nice!

Nice, huh? <a href="https://mouser.com/ProductDetail/wurth-electronics/74650073r/?qs=lBTPRtX1sU%252b0nZldejGWIA==" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://mouser.com/ProductDetail/wurth-electronics/74650073r/?qs=lBTPRtX1sU%252b0nZldejGWIA==</a>

What's that output terminal part?

Looks great, you went for 70µm i.e. 2 oz./ft² copper?

Holger P Kleinert

I did the same thing on a recent prototype of a board for work, lots and lots of vias because "thermals." Really it was because they look cool.

¡Viva Vias!

John McCormick

😂The finish on the cheapest JLCPCBs is leaded so better avoid that ... but RoHS ENIG gold plated ones probably yes! There is also 'edge-plating' to be on the safe side ...

Hmm... Vias. next pcb project: Cubic PCB Tea Egg. (are pcbs food safe?)
