Patreon Update - Finance & Your Benefits!

Before I get to the point I would like to express my sincere gratitude to every single one of you. By being a Patron you are supporting my channel directly and you have no idea how much that means to me! Thank you so much!! ❤️
This Patreon account has been live for just over a month now and besides yourself 10 other people became Patrons. Absolutely great to see so much support, especially during these crazyyyy times!
Since I am still learning about Patreon, possible benefits and the best way to interact with all of you I am curious to hear your thoughts about the following;
- Do you feel all of your tier benefits are fair considering the pledge amount?
- Do you feel the tier benefits should be altered in any way?
If you don't feel comfortable with replying to these questions in the comment section of this post you can always send me a direct message :) The goal is to create the best Patreon page there is for both parties and I need your help to achieve that goal ;)
I would also like to provide you with some financial insight. At this point the balance is $151,57. Since you became Patrons to support this channel I am also determined to spend the income on the channel.
These are some of the things I would like to change in the (near) future:
- Improve the studio lights
- Offer 4K quality instead of 1080p by purchasing a new Camera (Canon EOS R5 or Sony A7S III)
- Hire a graphic designer to design better thumbnails
- Improve the action camera quality to record videos like the approach into Quito (currently using a GoPro Hero 5)
- Create better and more sophisticated merchandise like cool aviation themed posters
Which of the above do you consider to be the highest priority? Please let me know in the comments below :)

2020-09-30 16:11:52 +0000 UTCYes. Creators upload videos as unlisted on YouTube and send Patreons the link. Where they want feedback first they would take the comments on board and make changes which I guess would mean reuploading it. I don’t know how this affects the algorithm. You could always use Vimeo to host pre-releases if you think changes might be made, and only upload the finished video on YouTube.

Unfortunately I have to downgrade the actual YouTube video quality to 1080p because the bits of video featuring myself are only shot in 1080p. I will think about the early previews for all tiers!

2020-09-30 16:02:49 +0000 UTCI've enjoyed your content so far (which is why I am here) and can't say there has been a time where I've thought to myself, I wish this was in 4k....still, that is the direction most videos are going so why not start down that path. Depending on how much post processing you do they'll take a bit longer to compile and upload so if that is a concern for you just be aware. Early previews are nice and I do love approach videos...after all, isn't the view one of the joys of flying? :)

2020-09-30 11:38:27 +0000 UTCHi Michelle. Maybe consider early access to new videos for all tiers (add to $5 tier). If you look at other creators this is a given, even at the $1 level. This way you can get feedback from all your supporters. Many creators do this before releasing their videos on YouTube.
