Build 0.4 (Mnesis Route)

Hi, friends! The first build of the Mnesis route is finally here.

I again apologize for the delay - I was hoping to have this published 2-3 weeks ago, but life kept getting in the way. I should be much less consumed by my dayjob in April, so I'm expecting to be able to complete the Superfang update in about a month - around the same time this build goes public.

I expect no significant changes to be made to the story content of build 0.4 when it goes public, beyond routine edits.  I have, however, enlisted some programming help, so expect some better transitions, animations, and overall level of polish.

I hope you enjoy the build, and thanks for sticking around despite me having you guys wait.

As always, make sure to let us know if you have any feedback, be it typos, bugs, or general thoughts on the story so far (Discord is the best place for that, but feel free to message me directly as well).

Warning: Spoilers for the new update. I enjoyed that the talk in the park, both in its linearity and its small differences, established how Mnesis initially views Nick. No matter what our stated reason is (minus the part were he interjects that Dann- could have done taken the responsibility) his response is not too dissimilar to someone trying to convince someone to go to therapy after a traumatic event. To wake up and hear the music, if you will. There were no real grammatical mistakes that I noticed in the once over- except when Nick is looking at the news, it should be, "A series of robberies in the wharf district.. more tensions **in** Hawaii" (In its current state it's **on** Hawaii, the mistake is an easy one to make because I believe in the next line **on** is also used). One thing that I wanted to clarify (sorry if this sounds rude, I'm very passionate about this topic) is that ADD is an outdated term and is no longer covers any diagnosis (though the term is still thrown around), ADHD covers the diagnosis now and is under that umbrella term for a diagnosis, there are three subtypes: Inattentive, Hyperactive, and Combined. Of course, one can just use the umbrella term ADHD. That aside, the more we learn about Mnesis, the more I wish to know about him. His statement about not choosing to do science-based things (no discussion allowed!) makes me wonder if that's because being the 'best there is' at such a skill wouldn't necessarily include a restriction on the moral implications in the application of such a skill, and it makes me wonder if that realization when he tried it once made him never attempt to do so again, and luckily, as he doesn't retain what knowledge he gains (based off of what he has told us, anyway) once he switches between them, he would probably just have a sense of unease on the idea of doing that, or maybe he saw something he was working on while using the skill and realized how hazardous that knowledge could be. Another case, I speculate, could be that someone else would have told him something horrific he talked about doing while in that state of such a skill, in how he would know to apply that sudden influx of knowledge. Mnesis's visceral reactions to Nick's decision to be Templar might also come from experiencing a similar responsibility forced upon him at a point in his past. I wouldn't call it PTSD by a far shot, but it has an almost whiplash effect on Nick, how volatile Frank /Mnesis becomes on the subject matter, especially as he hasn't even known Nick for that long. Furthermore, while Frank claims aloud that he doesn't think Nick is stupid (or hot, he never even have thought of that, of course) the way he acts suggests that he thinks Nick is a bit in over his head. Mnesis makes several good points, saying that Templar was lucky enough to start off as a nobody, in the beginning, making it easier for him to go out and practice without big villains targeting him or potentially ambushing him while fighting petty crime. To Nick's point, the best experience after learning abstracts is hands-on and the before mentioned issues will persist, possible even worse so based on whatever Templar's killer goal was (not to mention all the other enemies Templar has made, this might not have been a one-person ploy), but it's barely been a couple of weeks since he has started training (I think, I remember six months being mentioned but I think that was more in the context of Nick just being angry at how Mnesis was treating him like he's fragile and that it'd be that long before he'd see combat). Regardless of my theories and overthinking way too much about probably minor details, I look forward to learning more about these heroes, keep up the good work!
