No, he's trying to stop the Witch from putting Earth and the Realm on fire in hope of creating stronger trialists. Like he did by saving the unwanted elves

2026-02-13 12:32:22 +0000 UTCI suddenly got a suspicion that ryan never lost his safety life, if the manager can lie then it's in his best interest to have ryan *believe* he has only one life. That way he will be more desperate to grasp every chance, but the manager has vested interest in him surviving. Why would it actually let him die when lying to him achieves the same goal with fewer risks? It can get the best of both worlds with a simple lie that no one can really check until Ryan dies.

2026-02-13 12:27:47 +0000 UTC"If I'm right, it won't matter if I somehow stop the Witch Tyrant." But what does it mean to stop the Witch? Stop her from completing the Trials and getting her dead daughter back? No, there's no issue with that. How she goes about it, however, is a problem. Her view of the ends justifying the means. The death and destruction, the manipulation, the madness fueled by grief. So the statement changes. "If I'm right, it won't matter if I somehow stop the Witch from killing anyone who gets in her way on the road to completing the Trials." If I'm right, stopping the Witch on her dark path won't matter. Stopping her won't matter. If I'm right, it won't matter. "...he had a real logical reason for dropping everything here too." Because 'if I'm right, it won't matter.' I think Ryan has figured out he can make the best of a bad situation, and he can fight to do things a better way, fight for the world to be a better place, but there's something coming he can't do anything about, even if he somehow managed to become strong enough to stop the Witch Tyrant. I think his question will be about that thing, whatever it may be.

2026-02-13 00:12:34 +0000 UTC> Can you figure out what Ryan is going to ask? As a response to that last part? “Seriously? I call bullshit.”

2026-02-12 18:45:39 +0000 UTCI’m curious as to when Ryan would have been Chosen in the alternate timeline. Also curious as to what form his strength would take for him to be stronger than he is now.

2026-02-12 18:42:13 +0000 UTCThe promise for any wish being granted by the Trial System, is that a lie? Or rather, is the highest trial even possible? If the Manager can lie, and if there have been others who have managed to survive after the Trial System left, it feels kinda weird that civilizations with that much power were not able to complete the trials. Combined with the fact that the creators have disappeared, it seems extremely plausible to me that the Trial System was built to run in perpetuity, to churn out monstrous civilizations with power. Hence, it makes sense that the Trial system itself will not end, making an impossible 15th Trial, as its purpose is to empower as many civilizations as possible.

2026-02-12 18:34:22 +0000 UTCWhy would Ryan be stronger and how?

2026-02-12 18:32:01 +0000 UTCI imagine classic eastern robes ( hanfu seems close enough) in design. The ones displayed in cultivator stories. Only the coat section and the sash though. They're midnight black with a lightly outlined dark purple constellation of an obsidian rock on the back (think obsidian application logo design but simpler). The main difference is that they're made of mink fur and sort of shine in the light, making it border on the line of fancy and gaudy. Graceful and respectful when you're a sect leader, not when you're a showboating adventurer.

2026-02-12 18:17:43 +0000 UTCOne thing I do want to know is what do the sect robes look like? They’ve always been kinda just described as robes and that they are comfortable. Do they look like typical eastern robes? Small knit pick and I may have just forgot I just have a hard time picturing them I guess
