Tower Ruin
Added 2023-02-22 20:09:07 +0000 UTCThis piece was an experiment in technique, checking out the reliability of lined half-tones for the sky. Which I like the way they turned out. Also fading areas of solid black into hatching.
And finally, I also used a sponge to make some of the initial foliage patterns on the trees. You can see it particularly in the top section of the clump of trees on the right. I like the way my lines look better when I ink them, but I'm not entirely displeased with the result.
